Dear Community Members & Families,

 

Over the past many months the Pediatric Therapy Center has been in an emergency fundraising mode in efforts to keep the center open. However, even with significant cutbacks in overhead, decreases in staff hours and good fundraising efforts, we show a significant loss beginning in September. Despite our best efforts, the PTC will face major changes in our funding and we will not be able to supplement the losses with fundraising. 

 

The PTC will be closing July 17, 2009. 

 

While closing our doors is extremely disappointing, we are making a strong commitment to our families to assist in the transition of services to other providers. Our therapists will be working with the FRC’s and parents to minimize the disruption to the children being served. The money generated from our fundraising auction event in April and all other fundraising and donations will be utilized to help support the center as we provide services during this difficult transitional period. Without the money that was given to us, we would not be able to continue our services through the summer. We appreciate the support from all our community partners and our staff.
