 Welcome to the Pediatric Therapy Center. We are pleased you selected us to provide services to your child. Our center was founded in 1955 and is one of sixteen certified neuromuscular centers in Washington State. We provide a range of comprehensive assessment, treatment, and educational services for
children birth-to-three years of age who exhibit developmental delays.
We believe that children learn best in their
natural environment
(e.g., their home, their school/educational environment or their community. Children are treated using developmentally appropriate, evidence based techniques that take into account their specific strengths, needs and their family's customs and routines. Parents and teachers can easily follow through with individual therapy strategies that work within the daily lives of their children.
 We believe
in the potential of every child to grow, develop, and contribute. Our goal is to assist developmentally delayed children in all social, emotional, physical and intellectual areas. We are also committed to supporting, encouraging, and respecting families.
We believe
that family involvement in their child’s program is vital to the child’s success. We view you, the parent or guardian, as an integral part of our therapy team.
 Our integrated preschool program provides a pre-academic setting for children between the ages of 18 and 36 months to grow, learn, and be part of a community with their peers. We believe that by providing opportunities like this to the children we serve, we are preparing them for the best possible future.
While therapy is not always a cure for many severe disorders and/or disabilities, we strive to provide the best possible value added services to help you and your child reach his or her fullest potential.

Area:
As the only non-profit pediatric therapy center in North Central Washington, our coverage area is large. We serve children residing in Chelan and Douglas Counties. By exception, when services are available, we may serve some out of county children.
Our services are provided by licensed therapist traveling and visiting each child’s home or community setting.

Funding & Community Support: This program is funded by Private Insurance, Medicaid, Dept. of Developmental Disabilities, School Districts, United Way, Children with Special Health Care Needs and donations from our community, friends and families of Pediatric Therapy Center.

Service Costs, Payments & Fees:
Service costs are based on a families ability to pay. When determining the costs and fees associated with our services, the family’s eligibility for third party payments, such as Medical Insurance, Medicaid, School Districts and the Division of Developmental Disabilities from the State of Washington and Part C of IDEA are completely reviewed.
Patients with HMO or PPO coverage are responsible for initial registration fees ($30.00), co-payments and all deductibles. The PTC will support patient co-payments in a given calendar year as financially viable. If you are unable to make co-payments during a calendar year, a letter of hardship and request for support is required on file. All patients are responsible for deductibles and will be billed accordingly.
No child, however, is denied services because of their families inability to pay.
